This picture is very cute and i like it very much, i like the fact it is sexy but not nude because i think that is as sexy as nude. I think the faces are very well drawn as well i really like the fact the have definite features and they look pretty realistic. The hair looks pretty realistic too. I think you need to look at folds in the clothes more though and look how the would hang, the skirt part of the dress is fine though.

Your very welcome, i love it when people comment on my work, so where i can i try to do the same. Do you have any advise on the way you make your faces look different from each other?
It is good you aim to improve as well, i want the same, but i am glad i can help. If you have a look of photo's of clothes helps, i also start of with nude pictures and that way i can judge how the clothes will hang

Yeah I totally agree~~~ It's really good for an artist to have to point of view of other to get improuved and make ur art known ^^
it is as interesting for ppl to get interest on my work as it is to find other artists works, w/ different techniques, styles etc ~~

so again, thank u very much for all your comments today <333

mmm about advising I don't know if I'm the best for that, coz actually sometimes when I draw the same charachter on different pieces of work, they can not look like the same lol. XD

But anyway, as my style is kinda realistic (I try at least) I use the most of the time the facial feature (eyes, nose, shape of the face etc...I also used to use tips like birthmark on the face (the character with the light has some under the eye (but the quality is crap, so I don't know if it's noticeable actually)
The most of my characters are Japanese or half-blooded, so they have basically naturally blackhair/brown eyes, so the haircut is important even if it can change in cut or length or color, I just try to do it progressively, so that they can still be recognizable, and I often add black roots (as here)

so as always a good way to improuve is observing faces from different ethnics, try to see the main groups, but again it depends on ur style, I you want a fantastic or manga style, the best way to recognize charachter is to put different hair colors and eyes like pink, blue, green etc (which I don't like to use)

so I hope this helped? it's a bit long coz there are severeal points to make charachter look different from each other but I may not be fair as one self only has a subjective pt of view on his on work :s

Your welcome about the comments i think it is good that we have found each others work because i think with the comments we are giving each other i think we may push each others work further :)

I am going for manga style but i want to make it look more detailed and realistic i like the anime style but i love western detail so i am looking for a mix :)

Your advise makes a lot of sense i do always very hair and and eyes but faces do look similar and i want to get out of that and make the features look different.

I have notised you like to draw Asian girls, but i really like the look of Asian girls any way so is probably another reason why i like your work, but your art skill is what makes it stand out.

Yeah, I'm really glad with a help of deviant we can find many other artists, discover each other's work, making good friendships and so forth.
I actually never went to art school, so I don't have friends interested in art XD

so its really pleasurable that everyone can give you advices and critique to be a better artist ^-^
so I'm also happy to give my pt of view on artists work to help them too =D
so I'm glad you like mine =D

I like the idea of mixing the different styles, it's the best way to find yours =d

I used to have a manga-ish style before, but I don't read manga anymore for a long time from now XD

Aha, I nearly exclusivelyonly draw asians XD it's because I listen a lot of japanese music XDDD
I'm happy you noticed that they are asian even with died hair cause I actually don't find they look asian as I'm so used of it
and I was wondering if they look asian to other ppl XD

I think i am the same as you in that way, i never even did art at school i wanted to do drama instead when the choices came up. So i have taught my self using books and this site so i really like it when people give me really good advise on here.

And why they skill look asain is their faces, some facial features are more common with some races and you have got those down really well and thats why they still look asian :)

i think it can be i think we have to try harder and be more resourceful, i did sciences and dance at collage ^^ I didn't even do art at high school because i didn't like it much because they would give you a picture and tell you to copy it and i hated stuff like that because it did let you be creative which is what appeals to me. My first high shcool would give you a theme and you created your own work with that theme which i found much better.
I think people all over the world dye their hair, i am very guilty of that ^^ but i think you have done the facial features really well.
